Doctors Advice on Heatstroke

Summer is just around the corner, and with it comes the risk of heatwaves and heat-related illnesses like heat stroke. Doctors know how important it is to take care of yourself during this time of year, especially when it comes to staying hydrated.

One of the most important things you can do to stay safe during a heatwave is to drink plenty of water and fluids. However, it’s also essential to make sure that the water you’re drinking is safe and pure. That’s why I recommend using only trusted, purified drinking water during the summer months.

Cooltura Hub Water is an excellent example of a trustworthy source of purified drinking water. Their water goes through 32 stages of purification, ensuring that it is free from harmful contaminants and safe for consumption. In addition, they undergo a monthly water laboratory test to ensure that their water meets the highest standards of purity.

By choosing a registered business like Cooltura Hub Water, you can be sure that you’re getting high-quality, pure drinking water that is safe for you and your family. Not only does this give you peace of mind, but it also helps reduce the risk of water-borne illnesses and other health concerns.

In addition to staying hydrated with purified water, there are other steps you can take to protect yourself during a heatwave. Staying cool, resting frequently, and avoiding over-exertion are all important strategies for staying healthy in hot weather. It’s also crucial to recognize the signs of heat stroke and seek medical attention if you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms.

As summer approaches, remember to take care of yourself and your loved ones by staying hydrated with trusted, purified drinking water like Cooltura Hub Water. By taking these simple steps, you can stay safe, healthy, and comfortable during even the hottest days of the year.

Bulacan Holy Week Destination

Get ready for an amazing five-day long weekend this April – start packing your bags! The Presidential Communications Office detailed the official announcement, reiterating that April 6 (Maundy Thursday) and April 7 (Good Friday) are considered regular holidays in observance of Holy Week. Following the previous announcement made on November 2022, the commemoration of the Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan) is moved to Monday, April 10, instead of its regular observance on April 9.

According to the World Religious Travel Association, faith-based travelers and groups spend $300 million flocking to pilgrimage destinations including Jerusalem, Mecca, the Vatican, and other significant spiritual sites. This is one of the ideal, perhaps oldest types of tourism program that is tested throughout time.

Philippines also has a similar situation with the Black Nazarene procession having more and more participants every year. The devotion of the people attending this event is remarkable.

Visit Bulacan as it’s very accessible and features heritage Churches for Holy Week Pilgrim

Bulacan, is renowned for its rich history, culture, and oldest churches. As Holy Week approaches, faith tourism is expected to increase in the province, drawing in tourists and pilgrims. Here are some of the oldest churches in Bulacan, including the Grotto in Marilao, and some interesting trivia about each destination.

  1. Barasoain Church, Malolos Barasoain Church is one of the most famous and oldest churches in Bulacan, built in 1630. This church is considered as the cradle of Philippine democracy, as it was the site where the First Philippine Republic was established and where the Malolos Constitution was drafted. This church was declared as a National Shrine in 1973.
  2. San Agustin Church, Baliuag San Agustin Church was built in 1801 and is known for its beautiful facade and bell tower. This church has been declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines. Interestingly, the church was built using adobe stones that were brought all the way from the nearby town of Angat.
  3. Santa Maria Church, Santa Maria Santa Maria Church was built in 1765 and is known for its intricate Baroque architecture. This church is home to the patron saint of childbirth, Nuestra Señora de la Annuncion. The church is also known for its beautiful ceiling paintings and its impressive pipe organ.
  4. San Ildefonso Church, San Ildefonso San Ildefonso Church was built in 1766 and is known for its beautiful ceiling paintings and altar. This church was declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines. It is also believed that the church was built on the site of a former pre-colonial temple.
  5. The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Miguel Arcangel, is a 19th-century, Baroque church located along De Leon St., Brgy. Poblacion, San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines. The parish church, with Saint Michael, the Archangel as patron saint, is under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos.
  6. Santiago Apostol Church, also known as Plaridel Church or Quingua Church, is a 15th-century Roman Catholic Church under the patronage of Saint James the Apostle and is located along Gov. Padilla street, Brgy. Poblacion, in Plaridel, Bulacan, Philippines. In 1961, a historical marker was installed on the church by the National Historical Committee (precursor of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines).
  7. Grotto in Marilao. The Grotto is a pilgrimage site and tourist attraction that features a replica of the Our Lady of Lourdes grotto in France. This site also features a chapel, a rosary garden, and a station of the cross. The Grotto was built in 1960, making it one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in the province.

Bulacan’s oldest churches and the Grotto in Marilao are not only significant historical and religious landmarks but also offer a unique faith tourism experience for visitors. As the Holy Week approaches, these destinations are expected to attract pilgrims and tourists who seek to deepen their faith and experience the rich cultural and religious heritage of the province.

The Philippines targets to become a tourism powerhouse in Asia in the next five years, Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco

Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco (PNA photo by Yancy Lim)

At the unveiling of the 2023-2028 National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) during a tourism stakeholders’ summit in Manila, the Department of Tourism (DOT) vowed to “establish a Philippine tourism industry anchored on Filipino culture, heritage and identity, which aims to be sustainable, resilient and competitive in order to transform the Philippines into a tourism powerhouse in Asia.”

The roadmap identified seven measures to achieve this goal, with improving tourism infrastructure and accessibility as one of the priorities.

“The overall target is the transformation of the tourism industry of the Philippines, which is why we have embarked on the objective of not just focusing on the promotion of tourism but more importantly on the development of industry from the ground up focusing not just on our key destinations, but also on our emerging and lesser known destinations,” Frasco said.

Cooltura Travel is in raising the Rainbow Flag of Inclusivity and why it’s Good for Your Business

According to a 2018 report from the World Travel & Tourism Council, LGBT tourism is expected to reach $211 billion in spending globally by 2021. This growth is being driven by increasing acceptance of the LGBT community and the growing number of destinations becoming LGBT-friendly. Additionally, the LGBT travel industry is estimated to be responsible for around 10% of all global travel spending, accounting for around $200 billion in revenue each year.

Thailand has been actively promoting LGBT tourism, both domestically and internationally. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched campaigns that specifically target LGBT travelers, and have also launched initiatives such as the “We Love LGBT” campaign. The campaign seeks to raise awareness of LGBT rights in Thailand, as well as promote the country as a safe and welcoming destination for LGBT travelers. Additionally, the government has implemented laws and regulations to ensure that LGBT travelers have equal rights and protections while in the country. The government has also taken steps to ensure that LGBT-friendly businesses are recognized and supported, such as offering tax incentives to businesses that offer equal benefits to LGBT employees. Additionally, the government has sponsored LGBT events and festivals in order to promote LGBT tourism.

According to a report from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, LGBT tourism in Taiwan is estimated to be worth around US$3 billion per year. The report also notes that LGBT tourists spend significantly more money than other tourists, as they tend to stay longer and visit more attractions. Additionally, the number of LGBT tourists visiting Taiwan is expected to increase in the coming years, as the country has become increasingly progressive in terms of LGBT rights.

The Philippines is in a prime position to take advantage of the growing industry of LGBT tourism, just as Thailand and Taiwan have done.

The Philippines is ideally located to capitalize on this trend, as it has a wide array of attractions and tourist destinations. Its rich culture, history, and natural beauty make it a great destination for LGBT travelers. Additionally, the Philippines is home to a vibrant LGBT community, with many popular LGBT events and festivals occurring throughout the year.

There is a need to create a study in profiling the LGBT community in the Philippines in terms of identifying their behaviors and lifestyle for several reasons. Firstly, it is important to understand the unique challenges and needs of the LGBT community in the Philippines in order to properly meet those needs. Secondly, a better understanding of the behaviors and lifestyles of the LGBT community can help create policies and initiatives that support and protect the rights of LGBT people. Furthermore, analyzing the behaviors and lifestyle of the LGBT community, can help to identify potential areas of risk and vulnerability that can be addressed through targeted interventions. Finally, this type of study can help to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBT people in the Philippines.

There’s also a need for the assessment of the LGBT community in business and investment so that we can develop better products and services that meet their needs. By assessing the LGBT community’s needs, businesses can gain insights into the products and services that they need, as well as into areas where they are underserved. This can help businesses to create more inclusive products and services that are tailored to the needs of the LGBT community, which can help to increase their customer base and create economic opportunities for members of the LGBT community. Additionally, assessing the LGBT community can help businesses to identify areas where they can make investments that benefit the LGBT community, such as investing in LGBT-friendly businesses or providing resources for LGBT entrepreneurs.

The government of the Philippines has taken steps to make the country more welcoming to LGBT travelers. Currently, there are policymakers pushing for SOGIE Bill or as others refer to more comprehensive bills in order to emphasize specific needs and protection of the rights of the community this is aside from the fact that the Philippines is the largest Christian country in Southeast Asia.

The tourism industry has also taken steps to create a more welcoming environment for LGBT travelers. Many hotels and resorts now offer special LGBT-focused packages and services, such as same-sex marriage ceremonies and honeymoons. Additionally, many tour companies offer LGBT-focused packages, such as gay-friendly adventures and LGBT-friendly cruises. These changes have made the Philippines an increasingly attractive destination for LGBT travelers.

The Philippines can take a cue from Thailand and capitalize on the growing LGBT tourism industry.

With its diverse attractions, vibrant LGBT community, and commitment to inclusivity, the Philippines is in a great position to become one of the world’s leading LGBT-friendly destinations.

LGBT tourism is rapidly growing in popularity around the world, and the Philippines is quickly becoming one of the most attractive destinations for LGBT travelers. With Cooltura Travel’s range of inclusive travel packages designed specifically for LGBT tourists, there’s never been a better time to explore the stunning beauty of The Philippines. In comparison to Thailand, which has also become a popular destination for LGBT travelers, The Philippines offers a unique cultural experience with its warm hospitality and welcoming attitude towards all genders. With this in mind, let us explore how The Philippines stands out as an ideal destination that promotes inclusivity LGBT tourists looking to get away from it all.

Cooltura Organic Soaps: The Better Beauty Soap

Organic products are becoming increasingly popular for their health benefits and earth-friendly qualities. Cooltura Organic Soaps in banana and papaya variants offer a great example of how organic products can be used to promote health and well-being. Not only are the soaps free from artificial fragrances, chemicals, and preservatives, but they are also good for skin as they contain natural ingredients such as banana and papaya.

Bananas are known for their health benefits, but did you know that they can also be used to treat skin problems? The potassium and vitamin C found in bananas can help to hydrate and nourish the skin. Additionally, the natural oils present in bananas help to soothe and moisturize the skin, while the anti-inflammatory properties can reduce puffiness, redness, and irritation. Using a banana on your skin is an easy and natural way to get glowing results.

Papaya is a popular soap with powerful whitening effects. It contains natural ingredients such as papain, which helps to break down proteins and other skin-lightening agents that can help reduce the appearance of dark spots, freckles, and sun damage. Papaya soap also helps to moisturize the skin and can even be used to treat acne due to its high antioxidant content.

Cooltura is committed to creating more sustainable products by sourcing materials from local communities. By partnering with government activities like livelihood projects, waste-source recovery initiatives, and other activities that promote local economic development, Cooltura is helping to create a positive impact in the communities they serve. Not only does this benefit those communities, but it also helps create products that are eco-friendly and high-quality. Thus, organic products like Cooltura’s Organic Soaps provide an effective way to promote wellness while supporting local businesses.

Full Support to the Masagna-Lawlawan Homeowners Association

We are proud of our officers who have shown their unity and determination to make our community stronger. Through their hard work and dedication, almost 200 members of the Masagana-Lawlawan were able to attend the event. We congratulate them for coming up with such a great attendance.

Our officers are an example of how unity and collaboration can help us achieve great things. They have shown that when we come together, we can create something bigger than ourselves. We hope that this will be an inspiration for everyone in our community to work together in order to make it even stronger.

In 2003, our association was updated in the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) and since now, we have been working closely with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD). As a result of this collaboration, our association is now more compliant to the government requirements and aligned to any projects as enforced by our local government. We are proud to be a part of this process that ensures homeowners are provided with better assistance and supervision for their housing needs.

We are deeply thankful for the generous and unwavering support of Governor Daniel Fernando, VG Alex Castro, and Cong. Boy Cruz (5th District) Mayor Atty. Agay Cruz, VM Banjo Estrella, to Brgy Capt. Ponciano Pingol and the entire LGU of Guiguinto, Bulacan in helping us realize our mission to create a harmonious environment in our community.
The LGU, particularly HARO and Guiguinto Federation of Homeowners have shown significant support in providing resources, guidance, and assistance throughout the entire process. Their commitment to our cause is commendable and has been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals. We are grateful for their support and we look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.
Thank you and yours truly is happy to be of service to the homeowners and the association – JEOFF SOLAS / Chair ELECOM
