Perks of Cooltura Hub’s Purified Water

What Is Purified Water?

Purified water is water that has been filtered or processed to remove impurities like chemicals and other contaminants. It is usually produced using groundwater or tap water.

Through purification, many types of impurities are removed, including (1Trusted Source):

  • Bacteria
  • Algae
  • Fungi
  • Parasites
  • Metals like copper and lead
  • Chemical pollutants

Water purification systems like charcoal filters remove chlorine, a common chemical added to the public water supply as a disinfectant.

Another benefit of water purification is that it removes unpleasant tastes associated with chemical treatments, organic matter or metal plumbing, leaving you with fresh, pure-tasting drinking water.

Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%. (Source: https://www.usgs.gov/)

Cooltura Hubs purification goes through 32 stages that includes charcoal filters and uses ultraviolet water purification, the most effective method for disinfecting bacteria from the water. Ultraviolet (UV) rays penetrate harmful pathogens in your home’s water and destroy illness-causing microorganisms by attacking their genetic core (DNA).

Cooltura Hub as a Safe Space

What does it take to be a safe space?

I have been to many places and as part of hotel and tourism industry, I have been very observant of inclusivity when it comes to age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, economic status, educational attainment and many more.

Before “inclusivity” became a term today, tourism has been very welcoming to various guests since we Filipinos are known to b very hospitable.

The month of June is known to be very special for the LGBTQIA+ community but it is a sad reality that just like any communities or groups, there are still many issues that separates them.

As member of the Board of the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and as chair for Tourism and Regional Relations, even amid this pandemic we can still be a source of hope and growth.

Cooltura Hub is just like many of my business affiliations, it’s true to its identity to embrace culture from its community. Our venue is limited for now, but soon we envision growth by making every customer a friend or an ally.

Thank you to various media friends for featuring our humble efforts. We make sure that every visit is worth it by empowering them to do better every day as part of his or her family or community. We are taking it, one step at a time.

So what’s in store for the rest of the year?

Cooltura Hub follows strictly the IATF protocols, barber is unfortunately not essential so we can rely on BreaTeaPh refreshments, then suddenly you realize it’s rainy season already. So we added a water refilling station, thus makes us in-demand year-round!

So space is now challenging, but this is where my digital marketing is coming in, I’ll be having more online groups and will support community-based projects.

Just like any of my businesses, I always complement with my online platforms and communities. Please visit my website www.jeoffsolas.com

COVID19 Mobile Vaccination Roll Out in Bulacan

A mobile vaccination program was launched in this town on Friday (July 9) to speed up the mass inoculation against COVID-19 of people belonging to the priority sectors.

The program, which is a joint venture between the provincial government and the private sector, kicked off at Barangay Tabang here and served about 500 senior citizens and those with existing ailments.

The mobile vaccination targets qualified recipients in villages, especially the elderly who could not go to the vaccination sites identified by the local government.

Dr. Hjordis Marushka Celis, Bulacan provincial COVID-19 task force assistant head, said two buses and a team of health workers were involved in the program.

So far, at least 92,000 out of 300,000 of senior citizens in the province were vaccinated with the first dose of anti-COVID-19 vaccine while 16,000 were already fully vaccinated.

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) in Bulacan has recorded a recovery rate of 97 percent from COVID-19.

In its report to Governor Daniel Fernando, the PHO said it recorded 78 new laboratory results, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 41,604, according to the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU).

Out of the total of 41,604 COVID-19 cases, 40,163 have recovered or 97 percent while 546 or 1 percent are active cases. Admitted in the hospitals are 36 patients; 98 in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMF), while 412 are under home isolation.

Two new deaths were reported, bringing the total to 895.

The highest reported active cases as of this writing are reported in the towns of Calumpit, Guiguinto, and Santa Maria.

Bulacan’s vaccine statistics showed that as of Thursday, 371,392 Bulakenyos were already vaccinated, 295,110 with the first dose, and 76,282 with the second dose.
